What is a fire hose?

Fire hoses are usually used for delivering water in order to prevent a fire from spreading and douse the flames.  The attack fire hoses deliver water through a fire pump to a firefighting site.  Water supply fire hoses (usually it is with big diameters such as 4inch or 6inch or even large ) bring large volumes of water from a hydrant or other pressurized water source to a fire pump center, in the end, it can be delivered to an attack hose.
